Bats

    Creative Industries' Bats are manufactured of injection molded plastic which can not warp.  The "Easy Lift Rim" around the outside edge of the bats allows them to be easily lifted off the wheel head, so that you don't have to purchase bats that are larger than the wheel head.  The pin holes don't come through to the throwing surface so your pot bottoms won't be marked, also insuring that clay can't become imbedded into the bat or the pins.
    In order to make the bats universal, the bat have both 9" and 10" center-to-center pin mounting systems.  The bats are self adjusting for wheels that may not be drilled perfectly, and have rounded edges to guide the pins into the mounting slots.
    The 7 ½" square bats are designed for space saving applications, allowing many pieces to be kept drying on the bats in a very small space.

Grinding Discs

    Creative Industries grinding discs use 12 inch diameter silicon carbide grinding discs with a peel-off adhesive backing. You affix this disc to any 12 inch bat which is then attached to the wheel head. Grinding is done at the fastest wheel head speed. The 50 grit takes off material fastest (including small glaze drips) while the 80 grit gives the smoothest finish. Water resistant grinding surface.

    Firm foam bat for trimming.  Allows you to quickly set your work on the wheel for trimming, shaping or texturing.  Pliable foam grips regardless of irregularities in the shape of your piece, bottom or top.
    

   Creative Industries' Bat Pins use SAE sized bolt heads to match most brands of bats in the North American Market.  If your wheel was equipped with metric bolt heads, you may need to substitute Creative Industries Bat Pins for use with the Creative Industries Bats.
