Duncan Satin Glazes


    Duncan Satin Glazes are low sheen glazes designed specifically for low fire (Cone 06) firing with a color palette ranging from bright, vivid to soft pastel colors.  While the Duncan Satin Glazes often referred to as "Matte Glazes", technically the Duncan Satin Glazes are not "matte" glazes because a truly matte glaze would have essentially no gloss and the glaze would not be conducive for use with dinnerware.

    The entire selection of Duncan Satin Glazes are Lead-Free, Nontoxic and Dinnerware Safe. Duncan Satin Glazes consist of 17 total colors which, with the the exception of Satin Clear SN-351, are opaque glazes when used on light colored clays.
