Duncan Designer Glazes

    Duncan Designer Glazes are reactive glazes, also known as Art Glazes.  Reactive glazes react to the thickness of the glaze application, the shape and detail of the piece, as well as small changes in the firing temperature to product interesting effects and changes to the colors.  Duncan Designer Glazes have a high gloss appearance that is perfect for single use or in combination with other glazes.  All Designer Glazes are nontoxic and dinnerware safe with the exception of DG 203 which contains cupric oxide (copper) and is neither nontoxic nor dinnerware safe.  Available in 9 fashionable colors that will self-antique if the object to be glazed is heavily detailed.
    Note: Due to a raw material component in Designer Glazes that intensifies the "break" in color, Designer Glazes are thixotropic and can arrive in a gel-like consistency. This is normal.  Mixing well will cause the glazes to become less viscous and easy for beginner usage.  The Designer Glazes can also be thinned with water (or Duncan AS 957 Thin 'n Shade) or well mixed to achieve a fluid glaze consistency.
