Duncan's Ceramic Bisque, named Duncan 04 Bisque, is available in cost saving case quantities for professionals and open stock quantities for hobby customers. Duncan's Ceramic Bisque is named Duncan 04 Bisque to reflect the proper firing temperature for earthenware (ceramic) bisque. Duncan 04 Bisque (pronounced Duncan oh four bisque) is a very high quality earthenware (ceramic) bisque using fine grained clays to achieve a remarkably smooth painting surface and trouble free firing when used with lead-free nontoxic glazes and underglazes. Duncan's 04 Bisque is manufactured from imported sources exclusively for Duncan and is maintained in bulk quantities by Duncan, ready for prompt shipment to Dogwood Ceramic Supply and in turn to our customers.
The Duncan 04 Bisque line consists of nearly 250 distinct items, ranging from functional bisque items such as plates, platters, mugs and vases for the classroom and adults, to decorative items such as banks, boxes, figurines and picture frames for the children and teens. For the school and small studio customers, Duncan 04 Bisque is packaged in small case quantities which is ideal for purchasing a variety of products as well as flexible storage in the studio or classroom.

While Duncan 04 Bisque in case quantities can be shipped via UPS, the virtually unlimited size range of boxes makes consolidating the product for UPS shipping quite difficult and time consuming. Even with the best effort in consolidating products for UPS shipping, most of the popular Duncan 04 Bisque shapes will result in UPS Oversized boxes (with the appropriately expensive UPS Oversized surcharge) being used. Because of the high costs of shipping Duncan 04 Bisque via UPS (due to the oversized shipping boxes), Dogwood Ceramic Supply recommends all shipments of Duncan O4 Bisque be palletized and shipped via Motor Freight so as to minimize handling and oversized shipping costs. For estimating shipping weights, the average Duncan 04 product weight is 0.96 lbs per item when shipped in case quantities, though the actual weight varies between 0.1 lbs per item and 4.2 lbs per item with plates, platters and vases being above average weight. Please note the 500 lb shipping rate is the minimum freight charge and all Motor Freight orders weighing less 500 lbs will be billed at the 500 lb rate.

The Duncan 04 Bisque Price sheet includes the retail prices (for hobby purchases of open stock quantities in the Dogwood Ceramic Supply showroom) as well as discounted prices for case and multiple case purchases. For customer convenience the discounted prices are posted as each (or unit) prices as the quantity in the case could change over time. The one case price reflects a 40% discount from the retail price while the multiple case price reflects a 50% discount from the retail price. The multiple case price can be either 12 cases of a single item number or a mix and match combination of 36 cases. As previously noted, Dogwood Ceramic Supply recommends all Duncan 04 Bisque purchases which require shipping be shipped via truck (motor freight) rather than UPS to minimize packaging and handling charges. Regardless of the shipping method, Duncan O4 Bisque requires a $100 minimum order (after discounts) for UPS or truck shipments. Allow 30 days for all case and multiple case orders.
Duncan 04 Bisque is guaranteed against shivering and other glaze defects.... even if you use the Duncan 04 Bisque with crappy clear glaze from brands not sold by Dogwood Ceramic Supply. Pretty good guarantee.

The PDF file format has been adopted by other software companies and as such PDF files are common to the web.
