North Star Slab Rollers

		Super Series 3 sizes Clay Card Eligible		All North Star Super Series of Slab Roller have dual 4" rollers and a 4.33:1 reduction gear between the large Wagon Wheel handle and the rollers to allow huge slabs to be built by every person regardless of his/her upper body strength and weight. Built to last a lifetime, the Super Series Slab Rollers really have a lifetime warranty.
		Standard Series 2 sizes Clay Card Eligible		The Standard Series Slab Rollers are the little brothers of the Super Series.  Designed for the active hobby potter needing smaller slabs, the Standard Series uses dual 2.5" rollers that are direct driven by the user through the Wagon Wheel handle.  Warranted for the life of the machine, except in commercial or academic settings which are warranted for 24 months.
		Porta Roller		For slabs on the go, nothing beats the North Star Porta Roller.  The Porta Roller uses the same direct drive system with dual 2.5" rollers as the Standard Series of slab rollers and is perfect for the casual slab producer or traveling teacher.
		Jumbo Porta Roller Clay Card Eligible		When the standard Porta Roller just ain't quite enough, there is the Jumbo Porta Roller.  Technically the Jumbo Porta Roller is the North Star Polaris CT-500, but we have named it Jumbo because it really is a Porta Roller that has been supersized with the 24" roller found on larger slab rollers

North Star Extruders

		Standard Series 3 choices		The Standard Extruders models are simplest and safest clay extruders for small to medium extrusions - the type of extrusions.  The Standard Extruders are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for life.  Available in  painted steel or stainless steel with optional money saving accessory die packages.
		Big Blue Clay Card Eligible		Designed and engineered with safety consideration, the NorthStar Big Blue uses a Wagon Wheel handle to drive a compound gear box which reduces the force needed to make an extrusion to less than 30 lbs.  The Big Blue is the largest capacity extruder on the market that is safe enough and easy enough to use by school age children.
		Extruder Dies		The wide range of Standard Extruder Dies in solid and hollow core sizes up to 3" for the standard extruders can also be used on the Big Blue through the use of an adapter plate. The Big Blue also has a complete selection of larger Big Blue Extruder Dies (both solid and hollow core) which can be used on the Standard Extruder by using the 4" Expansion Box.

Clay Card

Clay Card Eligible: In store customers purchasing select major clay equipment items Dogwood Ceramic Supply current inventory receive a little lagniappe in the form of a CLAY CARD. The Clay Card authorizes the customer to purchase any stock Standard Clay at the 1000 lb rate regardless of the actual quantity purchased for a 1 year period starting from the date the equipment is purchased. The difference between the single box rate and the 1000 lb rate can be $12 or more per 50 lb box, so this benefit can add up to big bucks to the active clay buying customer.

The Clay Card Fine Print:

    The Clay Card is issued in the name of the equipment purchaser and may be used to purchase any quantity of moist clay in the current inventory of Dogwood Ceramic Supply at the published 1000 lb price rate. There is no limit as to quantity of clay purchased per visit, conditional upon the clay being purchased in 50 lb increments. The Clay Card applies to over the counter, cash and carry transactions only, and as such the Clay Card is only issued to individuals. Only the individual named on the card is authorized to use the Clay Card to make a clay purchase at the special rate. Reselling of clay purchased with the Clay Card is strictly prohibited and violation will cause the Clay Card to be declined for all future purchases. Qualifying equipment items are slab rollers, extruders and pottery wheels with a Dogwood Ceramic Supply selling price greater than $500 which are purchased from Dogwood Ceramic Supply equipment inventory. The Clay Card is valid for 1 year from the date the equipment is purchased from Dogwood Ceramic Supply.

   * How good is the North Star Warranty?  When Hurricane Katrina struck the Mississippi Gulf Coast there were a large number of North Star Super Series Slab Rollers that were immersed in salt water from the huge storm surge of the hurricane.  Dogwood Ceramic Supply contacted North Star and spoke to Bob and Rhonda who said "don't worry, North Star's Lifetime Warranty will take care of the problem".  So Dogwood Ceramic Supply contacted every customer we could locate and packed up every slab roller that could be found to be returned to North Star.  Dogwood paid the shipping to return piles of rusting steel and bent aluminum rollers to the North Star Factory. North Star rebuilt every slab roller to good as new condition.  This level of service is what Dogwood Ceramic Supply calls the "absolute best warranty in the industry"
