The Paragon Fusion 7 is Dogwood Ceramic Supply favorite little Glass Kiln and we refer to the kiln as the Ultimate Little Glass Kiln for two important reasons. First and foremost the Paragon Fusion 7 uses 120v electrical service and does not require a dedicated receptacle which means the kiln can be plugged into any regular household outlet. Being able to plug into a regular household outlet means that everybody can own this kiln. Secondly the chamber is huge. Ok, maybe not as big as the Fusion 10, but the chamber of the Paragon Fusion 7 is large enough to handle a decent size platter which means the typical glass artist is not going to have to compromise the size of projects that can be completed in the Fusion 7. The Fusion 7 can be upgraded with several desirable options including lid safety switch to shut off power to the elements when the lid is opened, high performance Mercury Relay for durability, Ceramic Fiber lid with replaceable elements and of course the Sentry 2.0 12-Key Digital Controller for greater control of the firing. Looking for the Paragon Fusion-6 ? May we suggest the Paragon Fusion-7 instead of the Fusion-6. The 40% smaller Paragon Fusion-6 is only 3% less expensive than the Fusion 7 and requires the same electrical service as the Fusion 7 so there is no logical reason to choose the Fusion 6 over the Fusion 7. Both the Fusion-6 and Fusion-7 can be shipped via UPS and as the kilns weigh nearly the same there is only a marginal difference the in shipping costs. Prices: All options have appropriate discounts applied from the MSRP. Freight charges are based upon the customer's location. This kiln can be shipped via UPS. The standard UPS charges are based upon delivery to schools and commercial locations. Residential deliveries are slightly higher. The Paragon Fusion-7 is NOT routinely stocked by Dogwood Ceramic Supply as the kiln is readily available for UPS shipment from the Paragon factory to the customer's location.
Published UPS rates and surcharges are rounded up for ease of customer use and to cover insurance charges and the variable Fuel Surcharge. $1.50 per box surcharge for rural deliveries. $5.00 per box surcharge for residential deliveries.
