If you have ever broken an object loading it in a top loading kiln you
already understand the idea for a front loading kiln. Front loading
kiln allows ease of access for loading large sculptural works or other
difficult to load items.
All Paragon Pottery Kilns are rated to Cone 10. The Top Loading
Pottery Kilns are the largest single group of kilns produced by Paragon.
All of these kilns are more economical than a comparable sized front loading
kilns yet these kilns sacrifice nothing in quality or firing capability.
Paragon's high performance Top Loading Pottery Kilns include the Paragon
Viking 24 and 28 and select top loading Energy Miser 3" inch brick kilns
from the standard TnF Series of Paragon Kilns. All of these kilns are
perfect for stoneware, porcelain and of course low fire earthenware.
Built upon the most popular Paragon Kiln designs, the Paragon Janus Kilns is the newest series of kilns from Paragon. The Paragon Janus Kilns were designed with a dual purpose, to fire both glass and pottery in a single kiln. Every Paragon Janus Kiln is capable of repeatedly firing to Cone 10 as well evenly slumping or fusing glass.
The GL Series of Paragon Glass Kilns are the standard by which all other glass kilns are measured. This classic series of Glass kilns has been produced seemingly forever, a true testament to the design and popularity of the GL Series of Kilns. The ever popular GL-24ADTSD, also known by many customers as the GL-24 Alphabet, is loaded with individually controlled elements in the top, sides and door to achieve the best heat distribution for critical glass projects. The GL series of Glass Kilns are purchased by universities for glass research as well as production and serious glass artists.
The Pearl Series of Glass Kilns are Paragon's newest series of dedicated glass kilns. The Pearl Kilns use a clamshell design that combines the functionality of the both the Fusion Series and GL Series of Kilns. The Clamshell design allows for easy loading and assembly of glass projects at eye level while the voluminous top section of the kiln allows for heat retention during firing stages when the kiln is open.
The Fusion Series of Paragon Glass Kilns has been joined by the Ovation Oval Glass Kiln. The Fusion Series is Paragon's classic top loading glass kilns which are popular with glass artists that need a basic kiln for fusing and slumping of glass. The Paragon Ovation is a classic oval kiln design that allows for larger and more importantly wider pieces of glass to be fired in an economical kiln.
Prices valid until December 31, 2008.
