    The Paragon SC-2 and all of the various options has remained the most popular kiln in the Paragon SC series of kilns.  The Paragon SC-3 is identical in size, shape and performance to the SC-2 with one key difference... the Paragon SC-3 is exactly two inches taller.  Those two inches add $70 to the price of the Paragon SC-2.  Those two inches could be useful, say for firing a ceramic coffee cup that would never fit into the SC-2.  Yet for less money than the Paragon SC-3, the Paragon Xpress 1193 has a larger volume chamber and higher temperature rating.

    What is Dogwood Ceramic Supply trying to say?  For about 99% of the customers selecting a Paragon SC series kiln the Paragon SC-2 is a much better value over the Paragon SC-3.

    Freight charges are based upon the customer's location.  This kiln can be shipped via UPS.  The standard UPS charges are based upon delivery to schools and commercial locations.  Residential deliveries are slightly higher.

    The Paragon SC-3 is NOT routinely stocked by Dogwood Ceramic Supply as the kiln is readily available for UPS shipment from the Paragon factory to the customer's location.
