 S211 Hazelnut Stoneware Clay (Cone 6)
Standard Clay's S-211 Hazelnut Stoneware Clay is one of the newest clays
introduced by Standard. S-211 Hazelnut is a nice plastic clay for throwing and handbuilding. At Cone 6 oxidation, it is a warm rich brown color usually associated with reduction firing. The noticeable speckling is due to presence of fine grained fire clay which, when combined with 4% fine grog, increases the wet strength of the clay, thus allowing larger pieces to be thrown.
