S306 Brown Firing Clay
    Standard Clay's S-306 Brown Firing Clay is moderately textured stoneware clay, with 7% fine grog, that is perfect for throwing and handbuilding. Standard S-306 Brown Firing Clay is very similar to Standard S-153 Clay except much richer color tones and less grog.  The muted orange/brown color chip shown on the left at Cone 4 oxidation has much deeper brown tones than S-153.  The clay becomes a cool medium brown at Cone 6, shown in the middle, and becomes and a medium gray brown at Cone 10 oxidation.  In reduction the clay is a warm rich dark brown with fine speckling of lighter colors, as shown on the right.
