S507 Warm Brown Stoneware

S507 Warm Brown Stoneware (Cone 4-10)
    Standard Clay's S-507 Warm Brown Stoneware is a coarse Stoneware body with added sand and 8% fine grog.  The color of Standard S-507 Warm Brown Stoneware is soft, warm brown with a hint of fine speckling at Cone 6 oxidation, shown on the left.  The color deepens to a warm medium brown with more pronounced speckling at Cone 10, as shown in the middle.  Reduction firing yields rich warm dark brown with significant mottled orange-brown speckling, as shown on the right.
