S553 Buff Stoneware Clay
Standard Clay's S-553 Buff Stoneware
Clay is lightly textured stoneware clay that contains fire clay and 7% fine grog that is suitable for most techniques.
Standard S-553 Buff Stoneware Clay is ideal for production work and the classroom when a dark colored body is not desired. At Cone 4, shown on the left, the color is a very light buff color, that becomes a medium buff color at Cone 6, as shown on the right.
