Air Dried Clay
S910 Self Harding Clay (do not fire)
Suggested uses for Air Dried Clay: Retirement homes, hospitals and rehabilitation centers working with the elder and stroke patients to gain hand strength. Air Dried Clay can be formed and reformed and saved in an airtight container for additional work.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts projects. Air Dried Clay will generally not meet the requirements of pottery or ceramic merit badges as the clay can not be kiln fired or decorated with glazes. At the same time, Air Dried Clay is perfect for Brownies and Cub Scout projects.
Please note, Standard Ceramic Supply, the manufacturer of Standard Clay, suggests the shelf life of this product to be limited to 6 months due to the risk of air exposure. However, Gulfport Bayou View Middle School and Central Middle School hold over the excess S-910 Air Dried Clay from their annual Earth Day event to the next school year's event with little problem.
