S240 White Stoneware Clay (Cone 6)
    Standard Clay's S-240 White Stoneware Clay is a lightly textured, very plastic white stoneware body that contains fire clay for added texture or tooth for enhanced throwing capabilities.  Standard S-240 White is warm soft white in color at Cone 6 oxidation and is perfect for potters that desire a light colored clay body to enhance glaze colors and details or carvings added to their thrown pots.  While Standard S-240 is a better throwing clay than Standard S-181, S-181 remains popular with potters that require a smoother surface for decorating.
