Magnet Molds
 

    Riverview Magnet Molds are similar to sprig molds, or press molds for clay, but have a smoother or shallower edge.  Ideally magnet molds are used for magnets, ornaments and jewelry, though magnet molds can be used as sprig or press molds.  In addition, magnet molds are perfect for children's clay projects in the class room, vacation bible school, scouting groups, or even birthday parties.
    As with sprig molds, clay is depressed into the mold, the absorbent plaster evenly draws moisture from the clay body which limits cracking and sticking, and when the clay has dried to the leather hard stage, the design is removed for further drying or attaching to other clay objects.

    All RiverView magnet molds are manufactured using USG #1 Pottery Plaster for strength and durability.
