    At 11.4 cubic feet of kiln volume the Paragon Janus Ovation Oval Kiln and her nearly identical twin sister the Paragon Ovation 22 Oval Kiln are the largest top loading Paragon Kilns.  Like all of the other Janus Kilns, the Janus Ovation Oval Kiln combines high firing capabilities of a traditional top loading pottery kiln capable of firing ceramics and pottery to Cone 10 with the ability to slump and fuse glass, especially to slump very large glass objects that could not otherwise be accomplished in a traditional glass kiln such as the Paragon Fusion Kilns.  In simplest terms, the Janus Ovation is an Ovation 10 kiln from the Fusion series of Paragon Kilns that has been doubled in depth (height) to accommodate very large (tall) glass slumping projects.

    In terms of volume, the Paragon Janus Ovation Oval Kiln is essentially two Janus 23 or TnF 23-3 kilns placed side by side to achieve an oval kiln that is 40% larger in volume than the hugely popular TnF 27-3 or Janus 27.  Like the other Janus and TnF kilns, the Paragon Janus Ovation Oval Kiln retains the easy to load depth as the firing chamber is only 35" above the ground level.  However, as the Janus Ovation Oval Kiln is only 22.5" from sidewall to sidewall at the narrowest point the additional volume is not always advantageous compared to the 28" width found on the super wide Janus 27 or TnF 27-3.

    The twin sister Paragon Ovation 22 is nearly an identical twin to the Paragon Janus Ovation.  The only difference between the twin kilns is the addition of the lid element in the Janus Ovation Oval Kiln versus the plain lid design of the Paragon Ovation 22.

Notes:

    The Paragon Oval Kilns should not be considered for pickup at the Dogwood Ceramic Supply Showroom and Warehouse or the Paragon Factory because the shipping crate will not easily fit between the wheel wells of most common pickup trucks... even if one of the shipping crate of one of the Paragon Oval Kilns crate does fit between the wheel wells, off loading the heavy kilns would be difficult at best.  Dogwood Ceramic Supply strongly recommends customers purchasing either Paragon Ovation-22 or Janus Ovation Oval Kiln should strongly consider allowing the kiln to be shipped to the customer's location.

    All options have the appropriate discounts applied from the MSRP.
